Perfect – as long as it works: durability is an issue. – I really like the product in all aspects – except durability. It works flawlessly, until it doesn’t. I am rather careful using adapters (among all other electronics), packing them properly when not using, etc.

Stopped working in 3 months – I had high hopes for these (2 per package). Using an Apple Type-C to Type-C cable, and an Anker charger, both of these adapters died within 3 months. I was charging an iPhone 13 so the 30W max should’ve been no problem. Now I have 2 useless adapters that have to be tossed–such a waste. I don’t think it’s anything I did to “fry” these–especially with the good quality charger, cable and iPhone.

Good for Emergencies – I wouldn’t use this as a permanent solution, because the USB C side of the adapter is not very secure and leaves the connector a bit wobbly. I do keep one on my keyring however for emergencies, as most people and places would have a charger with a USB C connector but not Lightning. I might also use this for short travel to pack one less cable.

One small flaw – These work – but the problem I have with them is that the female lightening port isn’t deep enough. The pins are barely covered. The adapter doesn’t snug up to the incoming cord which helps with stability. Picture 2 shows the actual connection not a depiction of it being plugged in. There is a gap. The pin connector is fairly secure but becomes disconnected more easily than I’d like.
