Didn’t Seem to Do Anything – I bought this to try to overcome our Tablo’s “weak signal” allegations. This amplifier didn’t help. Actually, I think our basic problem is with the Tablo box, since we have a new rooftop antenna and many broadcasters within 25 miles. Nevertheless, this amplifier did not help. Should it have? Beats me. That’s why I’m middle-of-the-road on my ratings here. It was indeed very simple to install.

It really works! – Like the product, easy install & most of all it works. I learned about this pre amp product from Tylor the antenna man on YouTube that works for me in my neck of the woods in IA. I’m using this pre amp with a clear stream 4V antenna placed outside on top of my house and a inline Philips LTE Filter for TV Antenna, Filters 4G 5G LTE noise reduction. Wow! We’re getting in channels we didn’t know we had in our area! Went from around 30-50 to 50-70 given clear weather. Even some in Spanish and I know we are not getting in Mexico! LOL!

Not Much Improvement – Only slight signal improvement. Not sure if it really improves anything but may give you a slight signal improvement.

Exactly what’s needed for a weak signal. – Was able to install this in a matter of minutes. Took long to remove the twisty ties on the cables than it was to install and plug in. Had several weak HD stations in my area that this device was able to boast with no issues. Definitely worth the cost and easy to install.

Does the job – It won’t perform miracles like boosting signals that are weak due to obstructions, but it does clean up the signals for the far-off station transmitters that had digital artifacts randomly. When paired with a 5G filter, we’re back to watching all our favorite channels over the air!

Good upgrade for price – Cleveland OH. A regular antenna without amplifier can bring in 25 stations. A regular antenna with a amplifier can bring in 43 stations, a regular antenna with this amplifier can bring in 72 stations. There is pixelization on some stations, but the adjustment button helps to fine-tune picture. This product is very easy to install. I use my regular Command brand wall stickups to install the unit to my wall. I am very satisfied with my improved television station selection.
