Using these to hopefully keep cord from splitting near lightening plug – Bought these to hopefully keep my phone cord from breaking near the lightening plug. As an extra precaution I put 2 on my cord. The only reason I gave a 4 is because the only way to keep the 2nd one from sliding down the cord was to wrap some electrical tape around the cord under it. A bonus, though, is that the weight of the protectors keeps my unplugged cord from falling off my night stand!

Adorable cable bites, great for decor, not sure about durability. – These cable bites are adorable and look great. These are pliable enough to put on, and so I’m not sure if they’ll save your cable from anything or not. To be fair, I don’t really bend or stress my cables too much anyway, I just really wanted a cute desk set up. For that, these are perfect. Some cable bites can be printed a little funny, like the black on the eye or something can be smudged, but these weren’t like that at all. Each cable bite was perfectly inked and there were no coloring or smudging issues. The colors also really react well with low light or RGB lights around them, it was hard to capture in a picture but you can kind of see it on my rainbow one under the RGB of my desktop.
