It works – I have had the worst luck in Kindle Reader purchases. The first two never worked right: the second one wouldn’t hold a charge and when I went to Amazon for a replacement, I got brushed off by the service rep I was texting with. I paid more for that second one. I should have pursued the problem, but with multiple health issues, you tend to put things off. So I bought my third Kindle Reader, a simple Paperwhite. That was 2021? I have a tendency to lose charging cords, though I don’t know how I do it. Sometimes they get warm out. So I bought this new one which has been very nice with the extra length. I keep several electronics in the same area and I need longer cords. Thank goodness for the companies who offer longer cords. I would be up and down plugging in and pulling out every day otherwise.

Not 6 Feet Long. Buy something Else. – The description says the cable is six feet long, but when I measured it, it’s barely 40 inches – almost three feet less than advertised! I didn’t want to buy another power adapter since I have a gazillion of them so I don’t know the wattage of the one I used, but my Kindle was at 50% when I took it out of the packaging and, after charging it all night with this USB-C cable, it was only at 95%. Unfortunately past the return window but head’s up – the product description isn’t accurate at all.
