Search for Youtube on installing wall mount to your model of large screen TV – Search for youtube on installing wall mount to your model of large screen TV. It will give you great insight for installing this. Excellent design and comes with lots of alternate bolts for different types of large screen TV install. Takes a bit of deductive reasoning in places but the youtube was my light bulb moment. All down hill from there.

Probably one of the best, but still poor quality Chinese made crap – I scoured the internet looking for table top tv mounting stands like this that have a metal base and not the glass bases that are a ticking time bomb. Seriously, don’t even consider the glass base tv mounting stands. They are a ticking time bomb. A quick google search about the dangers of them will yield you some scary articles from the news and many product reviews that describe the exploding glass bases due to imperfections in the glass and poor quality Chinese manufacturing. DON’T RISK IT! DO NOT buy a glass base tv mounting stand. With that said, this is probably one of the better ones on the market considering that the base is made of steel, but it’s far from perfect or a quality product. It’s still the typical made in China quality with poor quality control and meant for people with low standards. The base has sharp metal edges that would destroy a nice wooden table top if the included but not installed 3m adhesive rubber pieces are not attached properly in all four corners. Annoyingly, the welds on the bottom side are not ground flush in the corners and would create a ridge in the middle of the adhesive rubber feet if you were to try placing them directly in the corners. That’s just a small annoyance. The biggest annoyance is that there is side to side play in the post that the TV attaches to because the slot the post slips into is wider than the post apparently. I made sure everything was perfectly tight, but still not able to get rid of the side to side action that makes it out of level. luckily, there is enough tension on the side to side movement that it will hold in place just fine until it’s bumped and taken out of level again. Additionally, the tension screws that secure the tv to the mount once it’s mounted were covered in paint and not aligned well enough to provide easy adjustment. With each turn, I felt like I was going to strip out the Philips head just trying to take up the massive amount of slack in order to tighten it up to the mount to prevent it from coning off. I really wish I could have found a quality American made mounting stand, but this is the best option I was able to find. Additionally, I feel this product is way over priced for the lack of quality. I could see maybe $25 – $30, but it’s not a $50 stand in quality in my opinion. I will be looking for a non Chinese made alternative and will certainly return this if I’m able to find one. Just my 2 cents from what I’ve learned from my research and hands on experience. Everyone has different taste and standards and opinions, so it could still be a good option for some folks.

How To Properly Set Up or (If You Do It Their Way, You’re Screwed!) – So, once it’s assembled, it’s a very nice TV stand, as a matter of fact, it’s a 5 if the directions showed the easiest way to assemble it. If you follow the instructions, you attach two parallel bars to the tv, then a middle bar to those, which is what the tv hangs off of, then you assemble the base, which is two pieces, the long bar that swivels and the base, and now the fun begins.
