Not sure what it is about this remote… – This is a awesome remote. Works like it should and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement remote. My only issue is, I have bought like 7 of these in the last 5 months or so. Again let me stress its not because this is a bad remote. For some strange reason one of my dogs loves to chew these remotes. I also have two Amazon sticks with two remotes and my dog doesn’t touch them. But let someone in the house forget to put this Roku remote up and he will chew it to pieces. ♀️

Does not need to sync to TV – My TCL Roku TV was struck by lightning and when I tried a full reboot it would no longer sync to my remote. I was able to get a universal remote to work, but the voice remote just won’t sync anymore. This is a simple remote that works on infrared vs the voice remotes that work on radio signal, so with no syncing involved I was hopeful this would work.

So Easy!!! – Added batteries, pointed to Roku TV and immediately worked! No added connecting or linking needed. As a reminder this remote only works with a Roku TV, not a Roku stick or box.

Roku TV Remote w/Volume Control & TV Power Button – I ordered this remote as a replacement for the one I had which was exactly the same remote. My cat had knocked the one I had off the coffee table during the night and I still haven’t found the back piece. All that was necessary to do was place the batteries inside and it was ready to go. Works just as good as the original one did.
