great screen held back by meh android tv – would be great if it didn’t lose internet connection multiple times per day, sign out of apps at random, and very rarely decide to 100% the volume with a high pitched noise

Sony versus toshiaba – The salesperson said it was competition to produce the most vivid red, like a parrot’s plumage. He went on to say Sony OLED has them all beat and a couple of the popular other ones are priced too high but thar purchaser equates cost with quality all the time. It’s short sighted thinking…… Sony is the best value.

Needed a bit more thought in design but a solid build – Sound delays just like other models when over processing sound and video, sometimes it may turn itself on, though may need to borrow an EMF detector to be sure its the TV or not 🙂 .Bought this SONY as LG craps out wayyyy too fast. Disappointing part is no more 3d, some movies just really worker well in 3d. Otherwise picture is great, its a decent looking tv and hope it lasts like my other sony, XBR2 still going strong after 15 years I think? The simple gripe is memory, come on SONY be cheap on cheap models, I had added like 4-5 apps and was out of memory, pathetic.

Bright and Beautiful TV – Upgraded from a Sony X850e that always suffered with HDR, it never got bright enough so I just disabled the HDR and just used it as a regular HD display. The X95J is very bright and HDR and Dolby Vision looks incredible. I wall mounted it so definitely need 2 people because it is pretty heavy and need a heavy duty mount as well. The remote feels a bit plastic-y and hollow which I wouldn’t expect as my previous tv’s remote had a better feel in my hand.

Upgraded from X85F900 – No upgrade in picture quality… big upgrade in user interface (from Android TV to Google TV). Its slimmer and better cable management in the back. Cant tell any difference in 120hz when gaming COD. Just my opinion but i think 120hz is a sales gimmick. It is a great TV if you are upgrading from a really old tv. But if your tv is only a few tears old and has the more recent specs then dont upgrade… its not worth it even on sale.

Very good picture quality – Excellent overall experience but for the money it misses the mark. I bought the 65”. I feel that for the money that I paid it should have come with the antireflective coating and the backlit remote control. The picture quality is darn near perfect but it has some obvious blooming issues. I also have a Samsung Q9FN but it too has blooming issues. Right now the only way to get around the issue is to get an OLED TV or wait for a MiniLED. I expect that when Sony does do MiniLED it will be the one to beat. For now thought I enjoy the picture quality of this TV immensely. When watch a movie or OTA TV the blooming issue is not apparent. It only becomes an issue when captions are displayed

Sony X95J exceptional state of the art TV! – Purchased because I have always invested in LG but after my 5 year old 55” LG suddenly started dropping all the LED magnifiers inside, (lost it’s adhesion) I thought it was time to upgrade and go with a well known and high end brand that hopefully will not come unstuck!

Good TV – I was incredibly nervous for the delivery of this high-priced, fragile, in-demand, top-tech TV being shipped with Amazon. But do not fear as everything went smoothly. Two delivery guys deliver the TV to the inside of my entryway. Unboxing the TV took some time as I was afraid of damaging any components. I highly suggest reading the instruction for the TV mounts as there are 2 different types of screws! The TV has great picture for watching shows/movies! Build quality on the TV is great ( The frame is metal) and is a lot heavier than it looks.Overall, great experience buying the TV from Amazon. It was easy to schedule delivery. The TV came in one big box and arrived safely! I am a happy customer!
