First impressions – I was looking for a 55″ TV, at a reasonable price not realizing that most of the decent TV’s in this range were gone, and I was lucky to be looking at Amazon the day these TV’s dropped and quickly purchased one on the 11th. OK, I received my TV today (8/13/2020) replacing an older TLC series 4. Nothing wrong with my old TV, with the exception that even through I have 1 gig internet, my download speeds would never go over 20 mb/s. I have found it really hard to get a straight answer whether this was good/bad, or something else and I would swear that initially when I first hooked the TV up download speed were much faster before dropping to 20 and staying there.Since that TV didn’t have an Ethernet jack, I could not plug it in.

Woohoo i actually won the panel lottery! for once – in late 2019 i ordered a 6 series and it was shipped fedex they left it leaned over at about a 30 degree angle on my neighbors porch and it was only supported by one side so it was sitting there dangling in the wind bouncing in its box, there were holes all over the box and it just didnt look taken care of during shipping. and after the 2 hours it took to break down my setup, clean everything and install the new tv it was broken when i powered it on. the under screen was shattered and spiderwebbed in about 3 different spots. thanks fed ex. so i sent it back and after doing some research i learned about the 2020 tcl and decided to wait to replace my bedroom tv. in the meantime ive replaced 3 other screens in my house and two other times since then i got bad screens or broken/damaged/defective tvs…… the return process always sucks for a tv. but this time i feel like i lucked out.
