Excellent Antenna Amp – I wanted to “cut the cord”. I live between Baltimore and DC. I purchased an indoor antenna that let me watch Baltimore VHF stations and a few Baltimore UHF stations. After adding the amp, I can watch all Baltimore stations and all but one DC UHF station. I did an evaluation which I hope you will find helpful.

Does the job – Had the one piece unit THE CIMPLE CO booster bought last October, it failed 9 mo. after the Texas heat. Replaced with LNA-200. Not sure about the bad reviews, but it is doing a great job and was easy to install. I think reading some of the tech oriented reviews is helpful for understanding what a pre-amp is for. You can’t boost what isn’t there to start with. Knocked 1 star for not quite clear directions. You get a clear diagram, but perspective on cable placement not clear. Place the (black) weather shielded component in line as close to antenna (less than 3 feet best) as possible, the (white) power boost component can go inside in line close to TV or the splitter if you are using one. Check youtube for easy vid to make installation clear. You’ll need to get or make 2 short cables to put components in line.
