Excellent Glasses, Please Read!! – So, I got these more than a year ago and I keep them in my car so I never forget them when going TO THE THEATER. I read through a lot of the negative reviews about people who say these don’t work, and over half of those were talking about using with 3DTVs at home. Of course they don’t work for that!! These are for Movie Theaters. Also, you need to know which type you’re using with the movie theaters. If you’re going to IMAX, use the IMAX lenses. Just about everything else uses the RealD 3D tech, so those will probably get a lot more use. The passive 3D technology differs by theater type and are fundamentally incompatible with home 3D TVs. For those, you’ll need to get the exact glasses type your manufacturer recommends, which might be a big reason why no one makes 3D TVs anymore. Don’t let the negative reviews fool you. These things are great. I will say, the image is misleading — they dont’ have writing on the outside, and the only writing is on the case — so make sure you use the right ones and put them back in the right case or you’ll be hating yourself when you’re in the theater. Enjoy them!

They work as expected and as hoped – I’ve been using a Vizio passive 3D TV for years. Early on I bought a clip-on solution to use with my regular glasses, but I found the clip-on mechanism much too distracting. Much too close to what happened in “The Jerk”. So I returned to just using 3D glasses over my regular glasses, with my favorite being an oversized pair to make for the least noticeable bordering in the important part of my view.

Got them on time but there only sunglasses not 3d glasses – I have a curved 65inch lg oled tv one of the best 3d TV ever made I bought 4 pairs of these and some of the clip on ones they are made real well and fit perfectly over my glasses some of the best frames I’ve seen yet but when you use them with a 3d image it doesn’t work it looks like your watching 3d with out glasses this company must not have a quality control that tests there products I got 15 pairs of glasses that don’t work I guess I could use them for sunglasses cuz that’s all there good for I should send them back to Amazon and have them test them there self

Great Option for those who need glasses and want to go to a 3D movie. – My kid wears prescription glasses and hated going to 3D movies because the 3D glasses were uncomfortable and didn’t sit right over her regular glasses. On my end it was ok not great but ok , the kids however age ranges from 12yrs old to 18yrs said that it didn’t appear 3D to them and took them off within the first 15 min of the movie to put the regular movie glasses back over there glasses as uncomfortable as they are but a better 3D experience. Looking at the regular movie 3D glasses provided and these purchased it appears the regular movie glasses Have much darker lenses which probably has a lot to do with the 3D effects. As far as comfort I believe them to be pretty light and comfortable, much more than the ones provided by the theater. For me it was a toss up for the kids it was a big no go.
