Does the job, looks nice-ish – This product was easy to assemble for me, a five foot tall female, by myself. I did get some pieces installed backward and had to redo a little because I was skimming over the directions and didn’t notice that I needed to have them with the finished side facing up.

a little wobbly until the items are on the shelf, otherwise works great! – i purchased this shelf to store my manga, the shelf was pretty simple to assemble. it’s a little wobbly until you put the books on, but i really like the depth of the case itself, and being able to choose the shelf height. with items on the shelf, and using the wall as well to brace it, it’s pretty sturdy.

Cheap but effective – Watch that middle section, it might come apart really easy on you. Might want to reinforce it with metal brackets. Otherwise it’s an ok shelf for your media. Particle board, cheap material, same as the other media shelves you’ll find.

It is what it is – This storage unit was perfect for my needs. It assembled quickly and looks good completed. While not eirloom furniture, this certainly fits the bill for a playroom or a casual Media room. You’ve got to be gentle with the assembly and not overtighten the fasteners. When assembled as shown in my pic you will have 4 shelves left over. I got a total of 240 dvd’s in it, more than advertised.

Nice, basic and sturdy – This wasn’t the easiest shelf to put together. There are lots of parts with somewhat vague instructions. I followed the instructions with one exception, I used wood glue with the wooden pegs that connect some of the parts. It was actually quite sturdy once it was put together, and heavy. I ended up with 4 spare shelf pieces due to the size of the DVDS. I’d recommend this item.

Absolute garbage. Buy something else. – In the first place, it was so late being delivered that it was considered lost and eligible for refund, which Amazon did for me with no issues. And that was the last good thing that happened in regard to this shelving unit.
