It works what can you say after that? – I was transferring old videos and did not want to have dangling wires and having to disconnect a bunch of stuff so I put this splitter in and when I want to watch it on the TV I plug in the HDMI cord from the TV to the computer. When done I disconnect it and move the computer. I see both my monitor and the tv screen at the same time.

Since there were only two monitors, I ordered this to use in our presentations. It works a treat! You’ll need a USB power supply, but most people have a dozen of those kicking around from old phones, tablets, etc. Plug ‘er in and shazam, it just works.

does what it’s supposed to – USB power connector on device is fragile (minus 1-star) – When paired with dissimilar screens it displays both screens with the lower resolution (as it should). As soon as the lower resolution screen (1920×1080) is unplugged the high-resolution screen is back to normal without any distortion (3440×1440). The only problem is that the USB power connector on the device feels like it is going to break if even pushed a little too hard (minus 1-star).
