No issues and very easy to install – I’m using this to connect an Apple TV streaming box to an older tube TV that doesn’t have HDMI. I’ve had it for about 1-2 months and have had no issues. Once connected, there was no more to do. There was no degradation in the TV picture quality.

Short cord – I only wish I knew sooner that my ancient roku box was sooo slow. Finally no more amazon prime, would not update and I could not figure out why! So frustrating. Anyhow after many google searches I finally found something that said my Roku box stopped receiving updates! Between Amazon and Roku I dont remember seeing any notices. Kind of like my kindle 7 gen would not be supported or updated. Its now junk I guess because I can no longer access my online content, that was the case with some of my music and video. Really upset about that, but will save that for my next Kindle purchase. This was easy to set up with my old 56″ projection JVC TV that has HDMI ports do not work, so I have to use RCA jacks. The picture quality is better than my older Roku, but I had to do some manual TV adjustments, but its very good, not excellent, but with my old set its met my expectations. My big complaint would be the length of the cords. The RCA jacks were barely long enough for setting up with my rather large TV and I had to tape the box to the side of the TV. They did supply double sided tape that could not support the box. I did carefully clean, allowed ample drying time and held on with pressure. I then tried some I had, again making special prep, dry time and holding on with pressure. The little box is light, but I guess it needed some scotch tape to attach in a vertical position. I also used a 6ft surge protector that added a little length and protection. Was a good deal because I love my old TV, dont like color or picture of the new TV’s weird. 🙂

When the old and new have to talk to each other – I didn’t have a HDMI to RCA combo in my box of connectors and needed one. This works. It may not capture all the video quality from the source, but works well enough.

Surprisingly good. – Needed something to plug an Amazon fire stick into an old TV that only has rf and composite inputs. Saw this, and honestly wasn’t expecting much for the price. I just needed something functional. Worked out of the box, excellent picture quality. Nice ntsc color bars on no signal, which is handy in its own right. Great little converter.

It does what it says it should. Converts a Fire Stick to AV plugs for an old TV. – I was a bit worried about the fact that I could not find a single “brand name” product for this specific purpose. But, I took the plunge and ordered this Dingsun product. There is not much to say here other than it does exactly what it says it should. I have no complaints. I plugged it in and setup a Fire Stick for my dad on a very old TV. It is impossible for me to truly judge the actual picture quality you get from this, as the TV in question is maybe 18″ and wasn’t made for HD anyway, so I figure we get what we get and it doesn’t look BAD, so that’s acceptable. If you have a product that will only output HDMI and you need the old white/red/yellow plugs, this product works.
