Everyone needs their own Remote!! – So happy I purchased this “replacement” remote.. Now we each have our own. Not easy to “share” one remote when the other person falls asleep & you don’t want to sneak it our of their hand and wake them up!! Great price! Works better than the one that came with the new Sony!!

It works but edges are sharp and takes a bit of effort to push the buttons. – The remote looks like the sony remote – but the edges of the buttons are sharp and to push the buttons to get them to work is not smooth – takes a hard push to make them activate the desired mode.

First one Amazon shipped did not work, but then…. – I was trying to replace old RMF-TX100U for a Sony Bravia – XBR- 55X850C TV. I ordered this product. It didn’t work, I called amazon and also contacted the seller. The seller made it right almost immediately and made sure I got the updated product that was compatible with my old unit to be able to use the voice recognition. I believe the seller was in China. This review is to say thank you to the seller. They jumped right in immediately with messages telling me exactly what was wrong and correcting the problem.
