It’s not smart, but it works very well. – The picture is great, function is like my other Sceptre TVs. Sound could be improved, but all new TVs have crap sound it seems.

Great Picture, Meh Sound – This is a wonderful TV especially for it’s price, but just as other reviews have mentioned the sound quality is not the best. I’ve never had a desire to get a sound bar, but the moment I played a video on this thing I instantly started looking around for one. It gets the job done, the image is crisp and I love all the HDMI hookups in the back. I would recommend it for sure!

Great picture, terrible sound – So far so good. We’ve only had it for a day. The picture is great, but if we hadn’t already had a sound bar, we’d be sending it back. We thought our $200 LG tv had bad sound, but this is terribad. It’s really lightweight, which is nice since both of us are weaklings. That probably accounts for the bad sound. Overall, good purchase. If you have a sound bar or surround sound and are looking for a dumb tv, I’d go for it. If you’re going to depend on the tv for sound that isn’t muffled, it’s a no-go.

Very good, but know it’s limitations – This was a purchase for my son, a gamer. The price was way better than better known brands with smaller screen sizes. The picture bid magnificent, using a 4k fire stick to watch 4k content. But for the price there must be something limiting. Right? That would be in the sound department. The sound is terrible. But a sound bar cleared that problem right up. Even with the cost of a sound bar the purchase was a great value.

Great valuedumbTV – I didn’t want a smart tv, and for under $300, I couldn’t pass it up especially since it’s 4k UHD. I bought 2, they shipped from the west coast to the Midwest in about a week. They arrived undamaged from a 3rd party vendor. I initially had an issue with one arriving with a dead pixel, it’s pretty small and decided against the hassle of returning it, especially for the money. Overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase. The only real quality issue I’ve noticed is the “Sceptre” badge is crooked on both and are ready to come off. But overall I definitely would purchase more of them if they are available.

Volume level is off – On volume 1 it’s to loud and anything between 30 and 100 sounds the same level. (With or without Auto volume). I set the EQ levels to 5% to watch tv at night on volume 1

We were watching our HULU and all of a sudden we have no sound. The TV is only a month old. – When watching HULU all of sudden we have no sound. Turned it back to TV and still no sound. We have had trouble with this TV since we got it. Had to call technical support to help us finish setting it up. Only have had it set up for 5 days. Now we have no sound. I was told this was a good TV. Now I am starting to think different. So please resolve our issues.
