Great Value – The TCL 40 in Roku TV is a great value. Easy setup for me as I have been Roku Streamer for several years. This unit has a great picture quality and the right size for a small room where the TV doesn’t have to rival a drive in screen. remote is good, delivery was outstanding, it is light. The only minor detail is I would prefer a center stand instead of the widely seperated “legs” as it just fits existing tabletop tv stand. This review will be updated once I have had the set for a reasonable amount of time For now, it’s all good.

I already bought this item – I bought and got this TV on December 12th. This is the day I received it, but you keep reminding me to buy it and I already did. I also bought a 55″ Hisense roku TV and that one said he same thing. It told me to set a reminder, but already bought and received it last month. BTW.BOTH ROKU TV ‘s are awesome.

Video and audio issue. – Hooked up the AV adapter to a VCR and noticed the following. The yellow lead should be the video and the white and red leads should be the audio. However, the red one is the video and the yellow is one of the audio leads. The issue is either the adapter or there is an issue with the TV. Either way I hooked up the leads accordingly and now have video and the audio works without static.

Great TV! Simple remote but that’s all we need! – We’ve used the Roku streaming service for about a year on other televisions in our house. We bought this 40 inch Roku television to replace an older 37 inch TV…..and we love it! We now have only ONE remote for this room. We’ve only had it for about a week but IT IS GREAT!

Best value in the crowded room. – Four years ago, I purchased my first TCL 40″ HD Roku TV and it has been a reliable source of family entertainment. When I bought the new 3 series 50″ TCL Roku model, I wasn’t surprised by its overall wonderful performance. Great picture, all the smart features to enjoy streaming and a great price. It’s the best value in the Roku TV market. I recommend adding a sound bar to enhance the sound quality when you are streaming.

My First Smart TV and Probably the Best TV I’ve Ever Owned – This TV is great. It can be assembled with one person, the TV just needs to go on a sofa while you’re putting the legs on. Very easy to put together, and is light enough to carry around by yourself. I’ve only had this TV for a day but so far, it’s been great. If you have a USB stick laying around, you can use it with the Live TV app to pause and fast forward OTA signals. All the apps are great.
