Painless install – The installation of this mount went so easy, it made me upset at all the other wall mounts I have used. First, I have to say that all the included hardware worked and was measured correctly. The stencil was spot on accurate and the instructions were easy to follow. I know those items should be table stakes but in my experience they are not. I have wall mounted nearly a dozen TVs in my life and none of them were this easy. Not one stripped screw, no confusion on the directions, no “adjustments” had to be made to make it work.

Full beautiful range – Let start off with this gives you the full range of motion you want. I used my laser level to line it up how I wanted it. The overall mounting process was very easy. 1 person can easily do it. Depending on your TV size, get a friend to help you mount the TV. I have a 65″ LG OLED TV and I was a little nervous with the TV extended all the way out but honestly if you follow the instructions it’ll hold strong and look amazing. This will come with all the hardware you’ll need, excluding the power tools of course. Make sure you hit center of your stud and tight, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE DRY WALL ANCHORS. i used an impact drill to drive the screws in. It’s a little stiff to pull out and close but it is new and I expect that to loosen up a little with time.

WOW, just wow – I replaced a flat mount with this AlphaMount because I wanted a better range of motion. Being as I replaced an existing mount, I was able to fast forward through the hard part of the installation as I have already done that part. The holes lined up perfectly with the existing holes. The mount does come disassembled and needs to have a couple of pieces put together but the tools are provided and it’s an easy task. I mounted it to the wall and placed the new brackets on the back of the tv. I used this mount for a 42″ smart tv so I equate it to a bodybuilder holding a cup of water. This mount is ROCK SOLID! I have 4 other similar mounts in use in my home with TVs ranging from 32″ – 65″ and I can say this is the most solid of all of them. It is solid but upon loosening the adjustments it still glides so very smooth into the position you want it to be in. Then just tighten down the adjustments and it’s not going anywhere until you move it. If I hang any new TVs i will absolutely be going with an AlphaMount.
