Excellent product – I recently discontinued cable TV service and wanted to purchase an antenna that would pull in as many regional channels as possible. I’m a 73-year-old woman and had no problems at all with the installation. I attached the antenna to the wall in back of my TV. It wasn’t hard to find the best spot. The channel search found all 34 stations, which are the ones available for my area. This is an excellent result for an antenna that is affordable.

Must for cord cutters – I was previously using a $15 antenna from a local store and was lucky to get 35 channels after scanning. The UMustHave found 70 right off the first scan. Since I cut cable out a couple years back I use an antenna for sports, local news and some late night tv. This does exactly what I need and more. It picks up extra channels like old tv shows from the 70’s and 80’s if that’s your thing or extra news stations. I’m just glad I can mount it in one spot and forget about it. My previous antenna I kept getting static or was losing my local Fox station during football games and had to keep moving it around the tv hoping for a clear picture. I attached a few pictures where you can see the antenna in the top right corner in the window. The Coaxial cable that runs down from the square antenna is fairly thick and durable so keep this in mind when deciding on placement. I plan to use some coaxial staples to tap mine into the side of the window frame to keep it out of sight. I’ve only had it a week, but so far I highly recommend.

Worked to get local stations, just not through stucco walls so much – We are on the wrong side of some mountains, which doesn’t allow us to get anything via antenna. When we initially plugged this in, and placed in a window – we got 8 stations, much to our delight. However, we could not permanently leave it in the window of the sliding glass door. Put it on the wall just 4 ‘ from door and didn’t get anything. I don’t think its the antennas fault – given our mountain range and stucco siding.

Does what it says it does and does it well – We tried this at both our cabin out in the boonies and then at home. Out in the middle of nowhere, down an embankment, close to a non-great lake, scanning found zero channels. Back home, the first scan found fewer channels than our old digital antenna. So we moved it higher and found 16 more channels than our old digital antenna. Plus, the connection on these channels are rock solid. So here are my suggestions if scanning does not succeed:

Surprisingly clear picture – Dislike, I tried hooking it up to an older tv, that no longer has the original controller, and there must have been a compatibility or setting issue that I could not figure out. Someone more technical may have solved it. I then tried it on a 3 year old tv and it was plug and play. There are several stations within 10 miles and it picked up their signals instantly. I am now able to watch the big 4, abc, cbs nbc and fox, and to my surprise the live stations have a menu of viewing selections attached to their signals. It really offered a big experience for just a few dollars.

This item works !!! – I purchased this product to try to get cbs broadcast because direct tv and cbs are having contract disputes. Being nfl season my wife’s steelers games have not been shown because they are carried by CBS, so I finally thought to try an external antenna, from the box to watching cbs took all of 10 minutes, and 99 percent of that was scanning the channel list. The picture is amazing and I have about 20 move over the air channels I can watch. I’m thinking of going bigger with an antenna and ditching the 150 dollar direct tv bill. Thanks to whoever came up with this !!!!

Easy to use, local channels + handful of others, BUT glitches + very sensitive to any movement – This digital antenna is a first time purchase of its kind. Easy to use right out the box, with a long enough cable if needed. After tuning it to a Samsung Smart TV, it receives local channels, a random assortment of QVC/HSN type channels, and some other tv/movie channels thrown in, maybe 20-30 total. We bought it primarily to be able to watch college and nfl football without the hassle and buffering of streaming. Thus far, it works really well, but there are definitely some cons::
