Finally! Something works for my Mac mini! – I have a 2018 Mac mini running dual 4k monitors. The monitor have USB-C, DisplayLink, and HDMI. I first tried hooking up using USB-C, then a USB-C to DisplayLink to USB-C, and finally this USB-C to HDMI. The issue was that the monitors would work initially, but after some time (could be 1/2 day or full day), the monitors would not come on when waking the Mac. They were not getting any signal. For the HP monitors I have, the only way to fix this was to unplug the power plug going into the monitor. After that, they would restart and work for a period of time, then same thing all over. Well, with this cables, I do NOT have that problem. So glad because I really didn’t want to return the monitors.
