Considering for an ELDERLY FAMILY MEMBER ? – Read This ! – PROBLEM: Watching TV in the “modern era” …..( meaning some type of cable tv service with a complicated remote -OR- streaming device, which is complicated to navigate) ….simply does NOT mix when trying to provide a simple solution for an elderly friend or family member.

Perfect remote for my mom with dementia – Easy to pair, just put batteries in and start changing channels, putting volume up and down and easy to turn on and off. 5 buttons that light up and easy to read. My 84 year old mom has dementia and has trouble using a regular remote. I came across this one and I’m so happy I followed my gut. It is perfect, great price… if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Buy it, it’s worth it.

Great for seniors – Very simple remote can be used with both cable box an tv. Bought for senior friend with the start of memory issues. He would get close to tears and was constantly asking for help with other remotes. He would try to change the channel and if he didn’t press the cable button on his old remote, it would change inputs. It got so bad that he was leaving his tv on all the time.

Works well – Remote works great for my elder mother. Very easy to use and set up. My one gripe is that it didn’t come with the typical generic AAA batteries, none in my mom’s assisted living apartment so I had to go make a run to a local store and buy some which was a bit irritating.
