When she was home she’d break them and lose them somewhere in the house or leave them at friend’s houses or in cars. She’s a smart kid academically, but doesn’t put too much effort into mundane things like not wasting my money. At college, she still ends up breaking them or losing them, except she claims either a roommate stepped on it or it grew legs and disappeared from her room. These cords work great and are not expensive. I can’t wait until she has to pay to replace her own stuff.

The dinky 3ft USB-C to USB-C cable that comes with the phone is too short to be useful, so I did a search on here for top recommendations on Type-C cables. These ones by JSAUX were near the top of the list, and for good reason. They are sturdy and very well-built. Metal tips on the ends, long 6+ foot braided cable, plus a branded cable tie. I ordered a 2-pack, so I got one to use with my Galaxy S20 and 25 watt charger. Works great. 2 months and going strong. I just recently bought a set of 10ft 8K HDMI cables from this same brand, and they are also fantastic. Does a great job managing the eARC marriage between my Hisense 4K TV and LG soundbar.
