      Perfect! – I got to my new apt and instead of having a piece to connect my own coaxial cable to the wall, it had a cord to plug into my modem, but the cord was only 2 inches long and there was no way to setup my modem without the internet constantly going out, and for the modem to be upside down. I screwed this onto the cable and connected my own and was able to setup my modem how I wanted it.
