great product – costs 35 to 45 per cassette to transfer videos. purchased this product for less than 100 and have been transferring using my laptop and creating DVDs. only limitation(explained when purchasing) you must have a working player for the medium you are transferring. typically a VHS player or some adaptor for mini cassettes. install was easy and use is simple. video quality is good.

Exactly what I was expecting – Had a little trouble with the software after I loaded the first video. Had to uninstall and reinstall software. Overall works absolutely great, exactly what I was looking for. All my VHS tapes will now last for myself and family to enjoy together.

Solid Product – Installation was simple, transfer from tapes to digital was easy and editing software covered everything I wanted to edit. Even though it was easy, I still needed a couple questions answered. I called tech support and they picked up my call in about 20 seconds and politely answered every question. There may be more sophisticated systems available but this product was a GREAT value and I would definitely buy this product over again.

Works as expected – I pulled the vidbox converter out of the packaging and plugged it all in to my VCR and windows 11 laptop and it worked like a charm with the vidbox software that I downloaded from their website. I was a little bit confused as to which software to download but realized that there was a software package with a name that matched the name directly above the license key in my paperwork, “Video Conversion for PC”, and I downloaded that software, put in the license key and started using easy mode but I wasn’t happy with the graininess of the footage. At the end of the Easy capture it asked me if I wanted to convert it to MP4 so I did and the file size went down considerably. When I plugged the VCR directly into my 65″ Sony 4k TV the footage was a lot cleaner than the file I got out of the vidbox, Grrrrrr!

I replaced Pinnacle Studio Dazzle with this VIDBOX and am very happy with the change – VIDBOX is easy to install and use. It produces a good transfer that is generally free of static and lines. I had problems with Dazzle and its produce support from Corel, and was happy with the improvement when I replaced Dazzle with VIDBOX.
