good but could use some improvements – I used this to move our TV from the top of the chest outside of the bathroom because it was looking vulnerable, like an accident about to happen. The mount move the TV to the ceiling which is great for viewing when in bed.

GREAT powdered TV mount – Nothing to dislike about this mount. I did take the time to add several 2″x6″ between the ceiling joists in the attic which gave me flexibility for where and how I mounted it.

Awesome – If you’re wondering if the white mount will look tacky, it wont!! I am so pleased. We had handymen install and bury cords. They had no issues with install. It been up for months and seems sturdy.

It’s very cool but I just had to make it cooler. – Haven’t decided how it if I even will motorize the linear movement yet. Was worried about how trashy it would look after doibg away with most the bolts and welding and grinding smooth insteadnit helped. Really let’s face it tho there’s a 65”tv hanging from the ceiling it draws the attention anyway. I built the track outa angle iron from a bed frame I just botched into the mount on all four corners about half inch planes to use drawer wheels but after smoothing everything out it actually slides very well for as tight as I kept the tolerances. We enjoy it so far it allows us to pretty much lay beck or sit up in a positions we want without having to prop your head or whatever anymore. When both you and the tv are fully adjustable you get it perfect. All in all I’ve got 10 lags holding it to the ceiling so it is more holes and stretches accross 5 joists bet hey, you only live once so do it and do it safe

A really awesome feature for your home! – My bedroom was damaged by a leaky roof. I had to completely demo and remodel the whole room from the ground up. The room has one bedroom window, which houses an AC unit in the summer. I really wanted to have a new TV in my bedroom, but not one that was off to the corner, blocking the AC, or ultimately in the way whatsoever when we weren’t watching it. I surfed the web for hours looking for something both affordable and unique I could do in the bedroom to have a TV that wasn’t in the way.

Awesome retractable TV Mount, but plan ahead for easy install! – Added this mount to my pitched ceiling garage, an it worked out perfectly. This product works especially well on pitched ceilings, which allows the TV to be lowered to a completely vertical position. It takes about 60 seconds to travel from fully-up to fully-down position. [Note the posted video is at 2x speed]
