You can’t add apps with smart cast – please web search “add HBO to Visio Smartcast” to learn… if the video services provider you want to use hasn’t paid into the Visio scam, you CANNOT add the app!! Wish I knew this before buying this piece of junk. Now I have a 43″ TV that only gets Netflix, Amazon and Hulu. All the other pay services have to be viewed on other TVs.

Can’t Think Of One Thing Good – I bought this at Walmart based on previous experience with a Vizio TV. Of course I was disappointed with the sound but not surprised as Visios are known for the tiny, soup-can resonance. But the picture quality was horrible. On known program material it would switch from one scene to the next with inconsistent contrast. Usually milky, murky. Highlight detail was washed out. Colors were not accurate or natural. The available picture settings did not help at all and I’m an expert at balancing light tone ranges, contrast and brightness as well as color. The interface was was not user-friendly at all. Trying to switch between inputs was a disaster. Not a useable product. Went back after a few hours use.
