great picture but many flaws – this tv is replacing the previous P series 65″ I had which was great, just moving it to another room and the price was too good to pass up for an upgrade to this size. First off, the picture is great, but not sure the flaws are outweighed by that. first off, is it too hard to include a one page manual to describe which hdmi input should be used? my first tv with the eArc input, which i’m using, but no idea if that’s the one I should be using. second, when you turn on the tv, sometimes the main app screen comes and stays on, but most of the time, VIZIO will appear on screen then turn black and stays black until you press some buttons on the remote, I think it’s the home button which brings up the app screen, but that’s beyond irritating, other times it appears to have just shut itself off. second, maybe once a week or two, the tv will either freeze up and not respond to the remote, or I can’t get it out of the black screen upon start up, so I have to unplug the power plug from the tv to reset it. early on when I first had the tv, when doing this, often had to do it two, three or more times until it would actually turn on and function properly, so I finally texted vizio on their facebook page and actually got a fairly quick response, but she said to unplug the tv and hold down the power button on the tv for 15 seconds to drain any built up energy in the tv which is probably causing the issue. It worked, but when I say worked, I mean I only have to unplug it probably half as often now and only once, but come on, really? I’ve never heard of such a thing, but I’m not surprised, I have a few other vizio tv’s of varying size and series models and they ALL have issues where they freeze up and have to be unplugged to reboot, also, they’re all still slow to boot up in general, they’re slower than my old desktop. I don’t know if my tv is just flawed, but if these are common issues with this model, I find it hard to recommend it. I would have totally paid more for a different tv knowing i wouldn’t have to be constantly unplugging it, but get what you pay for I guess

Vizio did it again – Good product. Great quality. Good apps. Wish I could program a button to be a certain app. Most buttons are pretty programmed. But no disappointments here. Shipping should have let me know I had to be home foe delivery

Among the best values on the market – At the time of purchase, this television was slightly cheaper than its most direct competitor: the Hisense U8G. While, at least on paper, it seems the U8G is a *slightly* better television, I decided to save myself $20 and take up Amazon’s offer to split the payments over 5 months (which wasn’t offered on the U8G) and take my chances with this Vizio P-series.
