Works great – This review is for: AZMKIMI Voice Remote (3rd Gen) Compatible with Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick (2nd & 3rd Gen), Fire TV Cube (1st & 2nd Gen), Fire TV (3rd Gen), Fire TV Stick Lite, 2021 Release

Not like OEM. – Very similar to the stock remote. Feels a bit lighter and cheaper. The fire stick recognizes the remote but not like the factory one. You won’t get firmware updates since it’s generic. Voice function still works but I don’t use it often.

Not All Of It Works – So compared to the actual amazon fire tv it is almost the same except has the buttons netflix, hulu, amazon prime, and disney plus buttons. I added it to my tv through settings as it told me to with no issues. It connected with ease and works even better than the actual remote which likes to lag a lot of times this remote lags none at all. However the only thing I found that doesn’t work is the disney plus and hulu button do not work at all they take me to the settings and apps not to the apps that I have on my tv. It works great with prime and netflix though and for that and all the other good it does do its why i give it 4 stars instead of 5. Also it does not fit the sleeves made for the amazon fire controller either. I do recommend it as a 2nd controller though.

How To Activate with Internet – I like that it’s Small and easy to Use.. Other remotes have Soo many buttons to Navigate

Good Remote…it works fine with 2nd Gen Firestick. – One of my older 2nd Gen Firesticks came with a remote without the TV controls, so I always have to grab the TV remote for volume and power; so this is a welcomed replacement for that remote.

Missed It by THAT Much – This clone of the 3rd-generation Fire TV remote looks and functions just like the original. Well…almost. I tested it with a 2nd-generation Fire TV cube, and the remote’s primary controls–that is, the navigation ring (up, down, left, and right), the back button, the home button, the pause-and-play button, the forward and rewind buttons, the options button, and the Alexa button–all work flawlessly. There are, however, issues with the remote’s other controls, especially the dedicated shortcut buttons: only the Prime Video button and the Netflix button actually launch the proper apps, while the Hulu button launches the Prime Music app and the Disney+ button opens the cube’s Settings window. So what’s the bottom line, then? For those who have lost or broken the remote that came with their Fire TV device, this relatively inexpensive clone would be better than nothing. I mean, it does allow you to navigate your Fire TV’s interface menus and to operate your apps. But because of the issues with this one’s secondary buttons, don’t expect it to be a one-to-one replacement for the original remote. If you really need those fancier features, you’ll want to pass up this remote clone and just cough up the additional ten bucks or so it’ll cost to buy an official Amazon replacement.
