Great remote – The remote connected to the Samsung TV automatically without having to tweak any settings. Just put in the batteries and it was ready to go. It has a great hand feel, better than the original in fact. I would buy again without hesitation. My only gripe is that you have to make sure you have direct line of sight with the TV to function properly. Guess I’ve gotten too used to other remotes that function without direct line of sight which makes it noticeable about this one.

My only two gripes are it feels cheap compared to the original Samsung remote, and it doesn’t work through objects such as underneath a blanket. The original remote worked even while under my blanket without being pointed at the TV. It’s a minor inconvenience, but it’s still annoying to deal with when I’d had my other remote for 4 years and got used to that “luxury”.
