Don’t be intimidated. – There is A LOT of hardware included. The “instructions” don’t include written instructions. I was thinking I’d never figure this out. But after just looking at it for a couple minutes I realized it was going to be super easy. Barely an inconvenience. The picture is of all the stuff I did not use. Great product. And thanks Amazon for the included level.

Sturdy mounting frame but needs better screws – This TV wall mount is very sturdy and is quite heavy. Based on reviews others have left about the problem with stripping of the screw heads when screwing in, I decided to purchase my own lag screws (photo #2) at Home Depot. These were made from stainless steel so I figured they would be pretty strong compared to what was provided by Amazon Basics. I also bought the other screws needed for installing the mount onto the tv, which were located in the “specialty screws/fasteners” at the hardware store. I would heavily advice to do all of this since I confirmed myself that the screws that Amazon Basics provides are very easy to strip upon screwing in (as can be seen in photo #1). That just tells me a lot about the sturdiness (or the lack of it I should say) the screws Amazon Basics provide. Overall, I am satisfied with the product – BUT only because I learned from the bad experiences of the previous consumers before me. Amazon Basics, please listen to these reviews and change the quality of these screws, this is a safety issue as much as it is a consumer satisfaction issue. Thank you

Quick and easy – Bought the TV mount to put a television in my exercise room. the kit came with multiple pieces because it can be used to mount many different sized TV’s. As you can see from the photos I only had to use a minimum number of pieces to do the job.

Solid product, terrible instructions – I am impressed, as long as it’s securely mounted, it is a very solid product and moves around pretty freely, and has a great range of motion while not wobbling or anything. Currently holding a 22″ monitor, but wanted room for growth. Includes every screw known on the planet, which is great. But, TERRIBLE instructions, I totally ignored them. I guess there is a video, but it’s only 3 screws and I had a stud right where I needed it, so no issues hanging it. I cut the full-sheet template out with scissors. It includes a level, which is nice, but to me an unnecessary cost. But for the size and quality, I have no complaints with the cost.

Great Product…Mostly… – I want to 5 star this, but I can’t. The wall mount works as described. It holds my 55″ Samsung TV on the wall with no issues. My issue is with the stud screws that come with this. I didn’t want to drive to Walmart again for another mount, so I bought this as it said it would be here in 2 days. Well over a week later, I finally got it and went to Walmart for grocery shopping the day before and grabbed another ONN full motion mount for the bedroom (where the Amazon one was originally intended for, not in the living room). The bolts on those are nice and thick. They feel sturdy and I am confident those will not break. These Amazon Basic ones? They’re puny, the threads are bent, the bolt itself just looks thin and brittle. I still attempted putting the first one into the wall, and half way through, the bolt would not push any further, no matter what amount of strength I put into it. The bolt felt like it was bending. I went out to the hardware store and bought new ones, and they went in just fine. Not an issue at all. Nice sturdy bolts and the rest of mount went on fine with all other screws good enough for government work. I still recommend this product, maybe I got unlucky, but before you start removing your tv and furniture to get to the spot you want, make sure to double check the box and all it’s contents. Make sure the bolts being used are good.
