Picture Problems – 9/28 – I’m editing my 1 star review given last week. After a couple of emails and videos sent back and forth between myself and Gavin at customer service the company has offered to send us a replacement TV at no cost. Customer service was very quick to respond and did not make us jump through a bunch of hoops to resolve our issue. When the TV is working correctly the picture is amazing (crisp and extremely bright) and the sound bar that comes with the TV is great. Only thing that is a little annoying is that the TV isn’t able to be programed to a firestick remote so we have to use 3 remotes (one to turn on the TV, one for the sound bar and one for the firestick). Since the sound bar comes with the TV it would be nice if at least the sound bar and TV worked off the same remote but it is not a huge deal. We are hopeful that there will be no issues with the new TV and that we will be able to enjoy it for fall football on the back deck!

Happy with purchase. TV is bright! – First of all, my TV was made on 5/20/22 and it appears to have some changes over the earlier versions. There is no longer an external IR cable/eye that you need to attach to the front of the tv, in order for the remote to work. It is now built into the bottom edge of the TV. That is a plus for me. Also, the TV no longer auto adjusts for brightness. I verified with customer service that this is the case, since I was concerned my TV wasn’t working correctly. No big deal. The TV gets plenty bright and it is quite simple to manually adjust the brightness/backlight via the remote. It sounds like they got rid of the auto feature, due to some complaints about how it was operating.

Very bright picture – We have been using the Kuvasong for over a year now and it has been terrific. The picture is very bright even on a sunny day, easy to see from different angles. It is under the eaves so not in direct sunlight, but it has been perfect for viewing night or day.

Great Outside TV – Great outside TV for the money. Takes a little time to set up since there is no directions. There is no customer service number to call that I could find, so it to awhile to get everything working. No blue tooth so you don’t get a lot of the smart TV functions. For the money compared to other 1500 nit TV’s you can’t beat. The speaker bar doesn’t have a HDMI connection which is so antiquated so used a different speaker bar, still not a bad deal, but 4 stars for not being more up to date.

Great TV! Excellent value! – I love this TV! Let me temper this by saying I have only had it set up for 3 days. The TV has excellent picture quality. Looks the same as my indoor Samsung QLED as far as I can tell. I like that it can go up to 1500 nits, which is really remarkable. The picture is very bright in our shade, and so far, seems good even with partial sun. The sound on the TV alone is actually not bad given that it is outdoors, and we don’t want to disturb the neighbors, but with the included soundbar, I think it’s really perfect. I watched Top Gun right away as a test as well as a few music videos, and the sound was great. Remember to put the sound output on PCM setting or the optical connection doesn’t work. I could not get the standard AV output to work on the aux setting. I did not use the included mount as I was mounting it above a fireplace and wanted to be able to tilt down. The included mount allows swiveling side to side and pulling out towards you, but I don’t think it tilts. The IR port is strangely not built into the TV and you have to stick it to the bottom, but for the price, it’s not a big deal. This is the best deal I could find online for this quality. I don’t use the built in wifi, but instead use a firestick. I asked the seller through Amazon, and they said it has a 1 year warranty (note that one of the answers to questions says 2 year, which I guess is wrong). I have not heard of Kuvasong before or Kuvasion, but others have said the customer service is good, and I hope that if I need it, I experience the same.

Intial Impressions: Outstanding – I just received my Kuvasong 1500 nits 55 inch. The shipping container is the best I have seen for a large flat screen LED TV. Today is a fairly bright but cloudy day. I powered it up and WOW the screen is super-bright. I didn’t get a manual but easy to figure out and I attached the 2 WiFi antennas and connected to my home network. The factory default brightness was 80% and 2K mode, I switched it to 4K and started Netflix and Amazon. Super sharp, beautiful color that on first impressions is as nice as my expensive indoor Samsung. THEN, I realized I left on the plastic protective LED screen film. So, if it stays like this and continues to perform and look so good, this is a clear winner !!
