BUY THIS. SERIOUSLY ITS INCREDIBLE!!! – This tv is awesome. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews because every new model of electronics will have issues.

The Q70T exceeds my expectations! – The 55” Samsung Q70T has exceeded my expectations. I bought it to replace a brand new 2020 model Vizio that just didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The Q70T has an edge lit backlight without local dimming and while black bars on top and bottom of movies are a bit washed out, the black levels in the content itself are pretty dang good for what it is. There is minimal backlight bleed and the screen has good uniformity. I am watching a hockey game right now and the screen looks very clean while panning across the rink! Picture Clarity settings will definitely help improve motion but there is some blur trail. When Picture Clarity is off, the native 120hz panel displays normal TV and DVD/Blu-ray very well. I have noticed some end credits appearing a little stuttery when scrolling along the screen, but sliding Judder Reduction up a bit cleans it up without any obnoxious soap opera effect. This is my first Samsung TV and they really do like to make things bright! I am usually watching content on the stripped down Movie picture setting and Standard for Sports with some minor enhancements to keep the colors at a more realistic level than Dynamic/Natural. Overall, this TV performs well despite the fact its features (and lack thereof) are considered a downgrade to most other options available. Do your research and choose a TV that will best suit your needs. I am totally happy with the Q70T!

Nice tv. Don’t move it lol – Second time I ever moved it the tv screen fractured and broke . No repair person said it’s worth fixing vs buying a new one. If that says anything it took little finger pressure to crack and destroy a 1600$ product that was marked down at the time from 2plus G’s.. Love to see it. Tv did fine before it left me. I don’t feel great about it moving forward.
