worthy mod for the inside of your car – made is super easy to have usb ports in the car after put a new radio in a as I didn’t have a place to rout the cables for them and managed to at least find a use for my 9v port.

Get it – I had 2 usb cables from my head unit that I ran right into this. Removed my cigarette lighter from my dash and this fit perfect. No more wires hanging out. Only down side there is no soft light led for visibility but it’s all good Get it

The jacks are upside down with each other. – Just a weird quirk of the design I guess. The jacks are opposite of each other. What I mean is that if you plug in a cable to the top jack and then pull it out and try to put it into the other jack you will need to turn the cable over. Usb cables are already enough of a pain without this consideration. But it does work and comes with a bracket and hardware. It’s plastic but works fine. I didn’t use the bracket though and just drilled a hole in a panel in my application (not a motorcycle).

Upside Down Ports! – WHY in the world are the two ports in opposite directions? One faces up while the other faces down. As if USB BE ports weren’t confusing enough. I got over it tho.

Fit the bill – Installed an Android stereo head in a 2007 Tacoma and wanted a clean installation and easy access to the USB ports. Most people put the USB plugs in the glove box which was an unacceptable solution. I originally wanted to install this product in place of the lighter, but I needed to remove the entire center console to get to the back of the lighter, also unacceptable. I decided to install this product in the small removable panel just below on of the center vents. Cut a hole in the panel using 1 1/8″ hole saw and it fit like a glove. Can’t speak for durability, but it looks and feels sturdy enough.

Great Extension – I’m using it in a home made Arcade cabinet to extend USB to the front of the cabinet. Love the rubber cover as its intended to be waterproof.
